Zimbabwe is prepared to provide land to white farmers who had their property seized under President Robert Mugabe's land reform programme, reports the BBC.
Farmers do not necessarily get back land they lost, but they can receive long leases for farms since any Zimbabwean can apply for land. The Commercial Farmers' Union said 200 white farmers had applied for land over the past two weeks. (pi)
