The directors of Ace Interactive, a UK-based supplier of spare parts, yesterday announced the merger and investment in Premcourt Services, a manufacturer of classifier and discharge units.
Premcourt Services will continue to operate as a separate business, while Ace Interactive will remain an authorised distributor of Premcourt spare parts. There will be some shared responsibilities at director level, but a merger of the two companies is not planned.
The design, administration, sales and accounts business is relocated to Andover, Hampshire but Premcourt will still retain the manufacture in Nottingham, the company's home for the last 15 years.
"This merger creates an excellent platform for the structured growth and further development and design of the Premcourt equipment range, whilst benefiting from additional commercial, marketing and management disciplines of the new owners," said a spokesperson of Ace Interactive.
Premcourt Services, a privately owned UK based company, provides classification equipment to the tobacco and tea processing industries and owns, for example, the Laminar Flow Classifier (“LFC”). (ci)
