Ammeraal Beltech, a leading manufacturer of process and conveyor belts, has been acquired by global private-equity investor Advent International, the belt maker said.

“Advent’s experience and knowledge of the industrial sector, coupled with their international footprint and hands-on approach to value creation, will be of great benefit to the company in helping us to reach our full potential,” said Michael Vogel, chief executive of Ammeraal Beltech.
A sales price was not named in the deal that will see Ammeraal ownership shift from Gilde Buy Out Partners and Parcom Capital Management to Advent. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
