The Lviv cigarette plant (West Ukraine) has resumed production after standing idle for a year.
Baltiyskaya tobacco factory, one of the most successful and fastest growing independent Russian manufacturers based in Kaliningrad, commenced the facility’s technical re-equipment after purchasing the Ukrainian company last February, and has already installed two brand-new cigarette-making machines, with six more to follow.
According to BTF owner Vladimir Kazakov, the current capacity of the Lviv facility, 150 million cigarettes per month, will be increased to 800 million sticks. Baltiyskaya tobacco group also incorporates a cigarette-making plant in the southern Russian town of Armavir where an upgrading programme has been already completed.
