An administrative court in Munich overturned a decision by county officials to block the “Don’t be a maybe,” advertising campaign for Marlboro cigarettes by Philip Morris Germany, the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper said.
The court found facets of the adverts before the body did not target youth, but said succeeding variations may be subject to review, the newspaper said. The ad campaign is nationwide and began in 2011. Germany currently allows tobacco advertising outside of mass media channels, including billboards, movie theatre spots and flyers.
