British American Tobacco (BAT) said the timing of volume shipments and additional rollouts of its non-combustible products will weight profit growth to the second half of the year.
Combustible global drive product brands are expected to increase their market share this year, BAT said in a trading statement for the first half. “The performance of glo (tobacco heating sticks) in Sendai, Japan continues to exceed our expectations and we are on track for further Japanese and international rollouts in the second half,” BAT said.
