Turkey has increased tariffs on US imports such as passenger vehicles, alcohol and tobacco, according to the country’s Official Gazette, Reuters reported.
The presidential decree to raise the tariffs include increasing tariffs on passenger vehicles to 120 per cent, on alcoholic drinks to 140 per cent and on leaf tobacco to 60 per cent, Reuters reported. According to the Official Gazette, tariffs were also raised on some cosmetics, rice and coal, Reuters reported.
