A change in tobacco laws to restrict sales of most e-cigarette products to licensed tobacconists was blocked by a constitutional court that said vaping paraphernalia are different from other tobacco goods, Reuters said.
Vaping shop owners had challenged the proposed amendment on grounds they would have been blocked from selling e-liquids and disposable e-cigarettes, the news agency said. Health arguments put forward were not strong enough to justify a curb on open trade in e-cigarette products, the court reportedly ruled.
