The US Food and Drug Administration has issued a ban on most flavoured vaping products with the exception of tobacco and menthol, according to CNBC.

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that the FDA’s new policy will give vape companies 30 days from when the policy is published in the federal register to cease manufacturing and distributing flavoured, cartridge-based e-cigarettes, reports CNN. Companies who fail to comply risk facing regulatory action by the FDA.
"The United States has never seen an epidemic of substance use arise as quickly as our current epidemic of youth use of e-cigarettes. HHS is taking a comprehensive, aggressive approach to enforcing the law passed by Congress, under which no e-cigarettes are currently on the market legally," HHS Secretary Alex Azar said.
The new ruling does not apply to flavoured products for open tank systems that are usually sold at vape shops and are not as popular amongst youths and rival pod systems.
