The Food and Drug Administration Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) is asking for unpublished data on what prompts people to begin and continue using tobacco products. The regulator's request extends to specific categories and products.

Because it already has searched publicly available scientific literature, the CTP said its request for information (RFI) applies to unpublished or not generally available reports and manuscripts. Comments and information must be submitted by 4 March. The complete RFI is available at:
