Imperial signs new contract with Market Dojo

Imperial Brands has signed a new software contract with Bristol based technology company, Market Dojo, reported insider.

Market Dojo will provide Imperial with procurement software, which was previously provided by a larger competitor from the US. “Market Dojo focuses on ease of use, which is exactly what we needed.” Ciaran Owens, procurement technology lead at Imperial Brands, told insider. “It provides a more efficient and user-friendly experience for our internal users, as well as our suppliers. It is great to be supporting a local business, who are competing and beating their more established global competition.”
According to the report, the software provider was founded by three Bristol University graduates, Nick Drewe, Alun Rafique and Nic Martin, who started the business in 2010. In 2013, Market Dojo secured a grant from West of England Local Enterprise Partnership and has increased its number of staff from seven to 24 over the past two years. Co-founder Nick Drewe, stated, “We are delighted to begin supporting Imperial Brands. Bristol is becoming a fantastic technology hub and this opportunity to support a global, yet local brand, is really exciting for us on a personal level.”
