Imperial Tobacco indicated it could take plans to ban displays of cigarettes in shops in Scotland to the Supreme Court if the Scottish Government would not back down, reports the Herald Scotland.
Imperial Tobacco would appealing against the legislation, saying Scottish ministers have no right to pass because it involves powers reserved to the British government. (pi)
