Inter-tabac, which bills itself as the world’s largest trade fair for tobacco products and smoking accessories, is solidly booked this year with more than 460 exhibitors, organisers said.
This year’s record compares with 401 exhibitors last year, when the show held each autumn in Dortmund, Germany, drew nearly 9,600 visitors. This year’s event dates are 19-21 September. The manufacturing side of the industry will exhibit for the first time at two special theme islands devoted to tobacco packagers and makers of cigarette automats.
Attendance is limited to trade visitors at least 18 years of age. Proof of status will be required; one reason why organisers Messe Westfalenhallen recommend online registration at: http://inter-tabac.tabakzeitung.de/wp/?lang=en
