Japan Tobacco International’s (JTI) Ploom S is now available in the UK making it the second heat not burn system sold in the country, reports The Grocer.

The Ploom S device will retail at GBP 89 (USD 115) with the compatible Evo sticks costing GBP 4.50 (USD 5,80) for a pack of 20. According to The Grocer, JTI will be offering a special launch deal for GBP 39 (USD 50,35) which includes the device and five packs of Evo sticks.
The Ploom S will be sold in two Ploom-branded lounges in London as well as in various pop-up shops and accredited retailers and through its online webshop.
The accompanying Evo sticks which are available in four different flavours (full flavoured tobacco, smooth tobacco, menthol and berry) will be sold at Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose and most cash and carry operators in London.
Ploom S will be only the second heat not burn tobacco system available in the UK rivalling Philip Morris International’s IQOS system which has been around since 2016.
