JUUL Labs has announced the appointment of Jonathan Green as new Managing Director of JUUL Labs Germany & Switzerland, the company said.

Jonathan Green has been General Manager for JUUL Labs Switzerland since October 2018. According to the company’s press release, he was responsible for the successful market launch of JUUL and helped the brand developing into a market leader within only five months.
In addition to his current role as General Manager Switzerland, Green will assume responsibility for the business in Germany and replace Markus Kramer who has decided to leave the company to pursue a new professional challenge.
"I would like to thank Markus for his contribution to our business over the past 18 months," said Chris Keneally, Senior Vice President, JUUL Labs EMEA. "By combining our businesses in Germany and Switzerland, we will be able to leverage the experience, resources and capabilities of both markets while further optimising our route-to-market strategy in the region. Notwithstanding these changes, our most important task remains to encourage adult smokers to switch from cigarettes to alternatives, to combat cigarette consumption in general and the use of our products by minors," he said.
JUUL products are currently available in more than 10,000 point of sales in Germany and over 2,500 shops in Switzerland.
