As the menthol cigarette ban looms, Juul is launching a new menthol vaping pod as an alternative, reports The Grocer.
The ban on menthol cigarettes is just a month away and Juul Labs UK has come up with a new product to offer as an alternative to smokers who still wish to enjoy the menthol flavour. The menthol and flavoured varieties account for about 25 per cent of the annual GBP 14.5 billion cigarette and rolling tobacco market, reports The Grocer.
According to The Grocer, the menthol flavoured Juul pods will go on sale later in April and will retail at GBP 10.99 (USD 13,83) for a pack of four.
“Juul Labs’ focus is to provide adult smokers with an alternative to combustible cigarettes and combating underage use of our products,” said Juul Labs UK sales director John Patterson. “With electronic nicotine delivery systems, adult smokers have a choice of flavours and a range of alternative options that may help them transition away from combustible cigarettes,” he added.
