Leading cigarette maker has announced plans to quadruple its overseas sales by 2025, Yonhap news agency reported.

KT&G, which accounts for 60 per cent of the South Korean tobacco market, plans to boost sales abroad by a factor of four by 2025. Establishing regional offices in Asia-Pacific, America, Africa and Eurasia, in a move to better address the needs of smokers in these regions, is part of the company's overseas expansion plan, the news agency said.
The company reported KRW 941.4 billion (EUR 731 million) in overseas sales last year and expects to post even higher sales from abroad for 2017, Yonhap said.
