CanvasU, an independent Australian research agency, conducted the online survey by interviewing 2,097 Australian adults over the age of 18 between 2 Nov and 11 Nov. The poll was conducted to find out Australians’ opinions on the plain package policy, which was implemented five years ago.
The survey also found that 80 per cent of Australians believe the government would not change the policy if the evidence suggested it was not effective in reducing smoking prevalence.
