Filter maker and scientific services provider Essentra has announced two new management appointments at its Hungary site, which suppliers European and Middle Eastern markets, the company said in a press release.
Jozsef Fenyvesi has been appointed general manager at the Hungarian manufacturing facility and Colin Fairs has been appointed development and new product introduction (NPI) manager.
Essentra said Fenyvesi has 18 years’ experience in manufacturing and supply chain management and joins the filter maker from German logistics company, DHL, where he held the role general manager. Fairs has been promoted to the development managerial role from his previous position at Essentra, continuous improvement lead.
Fenyvesi commented he is “delighted to join Essentra within the Filter division” and aims “to build and strengthen management and leadership at the Hungarian site”. Fairs commented that “research and innovation has always been a key part of Essentra’s vision, so being able to work in that area will be a really interesting change for me”.
Established in 2008, the Hungary site supplies both independent and multi-national Essentra customers in Europe and the Middle East and a Development Centre was recently established at the site, Essentra said.
