New podcast with Roy Weisberger on Business Insights

A new episode of ‘Tobacco & Vape, News & Views’ with Roy Weisberger, Marketing Business Partner of Rom Soriano, inventor of the ‘self-lighting cigarette’ has been posted on Business Insights.

The cigarette industry is always on the lookout for innovations with the potential to take the market by storm. E-cigarettes have long since made it into the mass market, and now a young Israeli named Rom Soriano may just have developed the next ‘big thing’: the self-lighting cigarette. In the latest episode of the ‘Tobacco & Vape, News & Views’ podcast series, Roy Weisberger presents the invention of his business partner Soriano and is convinced that the self-lighting cigarette has massive potential.
As well as presenting the idea, the mechanism and the benefits of this patented invention, Weisberger also talks about the hurdles that still need to be overcome before the product can go into mass production: “We need a company in the tobacco industry that recognises this great potential and is willing to help with further testing and, ultimately, production and marketing.” One ideal opportunity for finding potential cooperation partners would be the next edition of the twin shows InterTabac and InterSupply, which Weisberger and Soriano will be attending.
Further information is available in the full-length podcast which is now online. ‘Tobacco & Vape, News & Views’ is a podcast series appearing on Business Insights, the interactive platform of InterTabac, the world’s largest trade show for tobacco products and smoking accessories. The next InterTabac is due to be held between 14 and 16 September 2023 together with InterSupply, the leading trade show covering the manufacturing processes behind tobacco products, e-cigarettes, pipes and hookahs – both shows taking place as usual in Dortmund, Germany.
