Alliance One International (AOI) has appointed Bryan Mazur to the newly created position Executive Vice President, Global Specialty Products, the leaf merchant said in a press release.

In the new role, Mazur will take charge of global business development, driving innovation and new growth at the company, AOI said.
President and CEO, Pieter Sikkel, said Mazur's appointment was an “excellent fit” for AOI's evolving business. The company recently announced investments in e-liquids, industrial hemp and legal cannabis as part of its One Tomorrow initiative, which AOI said intends to drive growth and reshape the AOI brand.
Mazur was previously vice president and general manager at Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, where he gained 20 years of experience working with consumer-facing products, AOI said.
"Bryan comes to AOI with an extensive background in consumer-facing products that will be a strong asset for us as we move forward with our 'One Tomorrow' transformation initiative. His experience in leveraging the history and knowledge of an existing company to launch and scale new brands is an excellent fit for the needs of our evolving business. We are excited that Bryan has decided to join our team," Sikkel commented in the press release.
