Prosecutors investigating alleged corruption at KT&G searched offices at the Seoul headquarters of the cigarette maker, the Korea Herald said.
Transaction records were among items seized in a search that included the office of former KT&G chief Young-jin Min, who resigned in July at the onset of the inquiry. Min is suspected of creating slush funds, the newspaper said on its website.
