President, CEO and Chairman Pieter Sikkel of Pyxus International has called the Trump’s administration’s possible ban or restrictions on all non-tobacco flavoured e-cigarette products “misguided”, in a company press release.

According to the press release, the president of the global agricultural company which manufactures e-liquids said “bans and outright restrictions of an adult’s use of flavours in e-liquid products are misguided and not based on scientific research.
“The fact is, e-liquids are intended only for responsible adult consumption and, like other adult products, the effort should be focused on educating and preventing underage access to all e-liquids rather than restricting the types of products legal age adults can and do enjoy today,” he added.
In the press release, Sikkel notes that Pyrus International is “committed to responsible marketing practices” and acknowledges “the seriousness of youth access to e-liquid products and have long supported responsible efforts to address this issue.”
