Pamela Gorman, former government relations chief at NJoy and founder of a vaping industry consulting firm, will replace Cynthia Cabrera as executive director of the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA).
SFATA in June announced Cabrera would stand down as SFATA president and executive director, at which time Cap O’Rourke was appointed president. “Pamela is a perfect fit to lead SFATA against a host of challenges on the national and state levels, with strong experience in policy and advocacy, and as elected official,” said O’Rourke.
Founded in 2012, SFATA says it numbers more than 1,400 members, including online retailers, brick-and-mortar vendors, distributors and manufacturers.
