Health Minister Mark Drakeford wants to make Wales the first place in the UK to ban use of e-cigarettes indoors in public areas, according to Reuters.

Restrictions on vaping are contained in a package of measures put forward by Drakeford to improve public health in Wales, the news agency reports. The proposals are open for consultation until 24 June, when if backed, they will go before the Welsh Assembly.
Drakeford reportedly included the e-cig ban to prevent renormalisation of cigarette use in public places, which has been banned since 2007.
