As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect travel and trade fairs, WT Middle East has now also been postponed, according to the trade fair’s official website.
WT Middle East which was supposed to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 12–13 January 2021 has now been postponed to the 24-25 May 2021. The website states that “Due to ongoing travel restrictions, ever-changing rules about quarantine and social distancing measures, it's seems unlikely that in January, we will be able to hold the kind of event that we promised.”
WT Middle East features over 250 international suppliers and a free-to-attend conference and is a meeting place for thousands of industry professionals from all over the globe to meet up, exchange ideas and knowledge and do business.
By postponing the trade fair, organisers hope that international travel will be back to normal and “business and supply chains are well into a phase of recovery”.
Furthermore, the website states, “We would like to thank everyone connected with the show for their continued support. Please stay safe and well, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon!”
