The offer values the entire issued share capital of DLG at approximately GBP 6.45 million. ETD is incorporated as a societe anonyme in Luxembourg and is a subsidiary of Garbuio. Garbuio, which is based in Italy, is a manufacturer of tobacco processing machinery and plants. Commenting on the offer, Mansueto Favaro, chief executive of Garbuio, said: "We are delighted to be announcing this transaction. The combined strengths of Garbuio and Dickinson Legg will make the enlarged entity a much stronger competitive force in the marketplace and lead to a real opportunity to grow the combined businesses in the field of tobacco primary processing equipment."
