Organisers of the Drupa trade show for the print and paper industries said they have scrapped plans to go to a three-year cycle from every four years due to feedback from exhibitors at this year’s event.

Shipping machinery and setting up the equipment involves considerable expense, which is one reason the exhibition is not staged annually. Drupa also runs longer than most trade shows, allowing exhibitors to maximise their stand investments. Organisers said the next Drupa is scheduled for 23 June – 3 July, 2020, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
