South African cigarette maker Gold Leaf Tobacco asked the Zimbabwean Supreme Court to overturn a High Court bar to the company selling its RG brand on the local market, The Herald said.

Tonbridge Assets and Cut Rag Processors reportedly obtained the High Court ban as the legitimate owners of the RG trademark, the newspaper reported. RG stands for Remington Gold and is manufacturered by Savanna Tobacco, according to the Herald. Gold Leaf’s RG brand reportedly stands for Rudland and George cigarettes.
