Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard has stepped down as chief executive officer of Oettinger Davidoff where he has been replaced by Beat Hauenstein, formerly chief operating officer at the luxury cigar maker.
Oettinger Davidoff termed the changes part of an “ongoing rejuvenation of the operational management”. The cigar maker said Andreas Schmid will step down as chairman after 10 years to concentrate on his other business activities. Domenico Scala, chairman of Basilea Pharmaceutica, has been nominated to succeed Schmid.
