Japan Tobacco International (JTI) stopped a suit claiming intellectual property rights infringement against an insolvent e-liquid company after the liquidator promised to destroy the offending stock, the Irish Times said.
Healthier Smoking, based in Waterford, had made liquids with names including Purple Silk and Kamel Blend, the newspaper reported. JTI brands include Silk Cut and Camel. Suppliers reportedly stopped deliveries to Healthier Smoking after they became aware of the JTI case.
