A bill that would ban smoking indoors in all public places in tobacco-producing Kentucky will go before the state legislature, the Associated Press reported.
State Rep Susan Westrom said she has strengthened the measure that did not pass the legislature last year, and obtained about 20 co-sponsors. She announced the proposal at a 19 Jan rally in the state capital Frankfort. The bill provides fines for non-complying individuals and businesses, the AP reported. (pi)
