A second reading of the revised law on advertising is on the agenda of the Belarusian parliament for the autumn session.
The bill that has already been let through the first stage bans picturing of human beings or animals in tobacco ads and outlaws cigarette advertising at airports, public transport stops and metro stations. Animation ad videos are also to be prohibited, as well as all types of outdoor adverts.
